At SR Max^® we're all about safety, and we're pretty knowledgeable when it comes to slip and fall accidents in the workplace. The Danger of Slip and Falls

Workplace injuries can happen anytime, and slip and falls are among some of the most dangerous. In fact, according to the 2014 Liberty Mutual Workplace Safety Index, all three of the different categories of slips, trips, and falls ranked in the top ten leading causes of disabling workplace injuries in 2012.

• Falls on the same level were rated as the second highest cause of disabling workplace injury, accounting for 15.4% of total injuries and costing approximately $5.3 billion.

• Falls to a lower level were ranked fourth, accounting for 8.6% of the total, and costing $5.12 billion.

• A slip or trip without a fall was ranked seventh, accounting for 3.6% of the total injuries, costing $2.17 billion.
