COMPOSITE SAFETY TOE
Compared to their steel toe counterparts the composite toes are manufactured using lightweight materials to make the shoe weigh less while meeting ASTM standards. These shoes meet ASTM F2413-18 I/C standards.
The soles of EH shoes provide a barrier to protect employees from open electrical currents up to 600 volts. EH shoes are often needed in maintenance, welding and engineering positions. All styles marked with the “EH” icon in this catalog meet the ASTM F2413-18 EH standards.
Waterproof boots and shoes are constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. Waterproof construction requires continuous maintenance and is not guaranteed to remain for the life of the shoe.
Slip resistant safety footwear is the fastest growing segment of the safety footwear industry. For many employers with wet, oily, and/or greasy floors, it is common sense to require slip resistant safety footwear. Slip related injuries can be extremely costly. No shoe is slip proof, however employers who require slip resistant shoes can reduce worker’s compensation claims.
MAXTRAX® OUTSOLE TECHNOLOGY
Our patented MaxTrax® outsole offers superior slip resistance by channeling away liquids like oil, grease, and water. This top-rated rubber outsole provides maximum slip resistance and is also offered on all SR Max brand footwear, as well as select styles from SKECHERS Work, Reebok, Rockport Works, Timberland PRO, and Sanita.

Great work boot
This is a very comfortable boot; it needed no "breaking in" and it met my workplace standards (composite toe; electrical safety). The arches were okay but because the boots were roomy, I had no problem adding extra arch support (I have high arches) and this was in addition to wearing boot socks so my feet didn't feel cramped within. Very pleased with the SRM 255 overall. I'd get these again.OverallComfortArch Support: Moderate arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to width
These were the most comfortable shoe. they are a little heavy, but after wearing boots in the Navy for 20 years its nice the start my next path in life with comfort. two things you should never by cheap on is the shoes you wear and the bed you sleep in. my only regrets is they didn't hold up for very long, I've been wearing them for six months at my new job and they are coming apart and taking in water. :-(OverallComfortArch Support: Moderate arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to width
